![]() ![]() Even the tournament arc in naruto way back in the day wasn’t that good, especially if you omit sections after the tournament goes awry. Most shonen arcs are tournament arcs anyway, just dressed up in actual storytelling designed to hide the matchup formula. They’re wildly popular and fodder for all of the card/ stat fans, but they’re reliably the laziest arcs of their respective series. I don't have a list in mind either and this is gonna be a broad brush one, but tournament arcs are all overrated. ![]() Or Yakuza arc good until the end of Rappas arc, and kind of meh from that point. like the Forrest camp arc with the villains invasion, started strongly with that Muscular vs Deku battle, and had pretty much nothing else just people running around. I dont know how people read the arcs of newcomers like My Hero Academia, but most of the arcs starts good, and drop the ball for me. Psyren as a whole is underrated manga, so guess that'd make every arc of it underrated.īerserks Golden Age is indeed one of the best. Soul Eaters baba yaga invasion, very good and I guess underrated after that totally crappy arcs until the end One of the bests: Claymore, when they were fighting Rigardo. Magis last arc was nearly Naruto war arc level of shit, hard to read. SS arc was great, and I think the Thousand War arc is getting shitted on way too much, so I guess underrated? it had a dozen of flaws, but when I compare it to other "last war" arcs of shounen which tend to suck ass, it did a half decent job and quite a few things right. There are a lot of worst arcs in Naruto, the Penis joke arc (aka Sais introduction arc), but maye the lowest was the whole last War arc. Man, early Naruto was in a totally different league than what it become after the time-skip. ![]() Chuunin Exam and Sound 5 arcs of Naruto was very good. I dont have a list in mind, but Noahs Ark arc of D Gram-man is among one of my favorites in shonen (when they are fighting the Noah one after another). ![]()
